Sempre soube do Dave Mattews Band mas nunca me interessei em qualquer música deles que estivesse tocando por aí ou que fizesse mais sucesso. Não sei dizer o porquê, mas fato é que há canções que simplesmente nos tocam. E são estas músicas que me fazem tomar interesse pelo artista. "Some Devil" é uma destas canções. É apenas uma música com uma guitarra, com um riff simples mas que se encaixa tão bem com a letra... Acho que quando esta música foi composta, certamente todos concordaram que nada mais seria necessário para a sua execução. Além do que, o sentimento que está expresso na letra é bastante particular e me faz pensar sobre qual ou quais situações levaram à sua composição.
